2009 is fast approaching. What tattoo did you get this year? Plans for one next year?

So, what tat' did you get this year and what do you want next year, if you planning on another one.


(If you don't have a tattoo than obviously the first part of this question is not for you)
2009 is fast approaching. What tattoo did you get this year? Plans for one next year?
I got my first 2 tattoos on my 18th birthday in June.


I got writing wrapping around both wrists.





In the new year, I'll be getting swallows and stars on my chest.


And stars on my rib cage.

Reply:I got two, I got a swallow on my left side the day before my birthday in march and I got my wrist done, symbols meaning love and power, in september.





I would love to get a half sleeve next year, but I'm going to wait until I start managing my first band to do that, but that should hopefully happen by then hahaha. I would also love to get something on my right side, I feel all uneven.
Reply:This year I got two tattoos. Well, technically three.





Two interlocked star (one red and one black) outlines on my right shoulder blade.





Two sparrows, both are on on my chest, one on each side (the right and left). Both are closer to my shoulders than my actual chest. Both of them have orange, yellow, teal, and magenta, and shades of black and white. One has a body base of teal and the other has a body base of magenta. They represent my two daughters.





Next year, I want to get a tree on my back, to cover most of my lower to middle back. This will be covering a dragon I got with an ex husband, years ago. It's time for a rebirth and I think a tree is a perfect symbol of that and lifes lessons.
Reply:I had a compass done on my left forearm with the phases of the moon encircling it and a nautical star in the middle.


Beneath the compass is the word "invictus".

Reply:Lol, yeah. I might of gotten a real tatoo, at least thought about it, but my mom would never let me. Instead I got this other cool thing, that isn't permant, but lasts for like a few weeks. I got a music note right behind my ear! So it's always singing to me :)





My plans for next year, using the same stuff, is to get a peace sign on my foot!

Reply:I went from zero to sixty this year. I started my 5th total and my 5th for the year yesterday. I waited until I was 24 to start, and I'm happy that I did, but I will be filled up pretty soon! I'm planning on finishing my chest that I started yesterday and getting at least one half sleeve done :)

I got a star on my ankle when I was 16


When I was 18 I got a sort of curvy X on my thumb joint and a peace sign on my other wrist.


This year, I got my daughters names on the back of my neck in very small cursive

Reply:i got a very detailed koi and 2 stars this year one on each elbow, next year i am aiming to finish my left sleeve, and get something else on my back, maybe something on my ribs
