One year to get around a 5 min mile, need a cardio plan?

I am weak on my cardio and need to improve alot to reach this goal, I would like a week cardio plan with only one rest day.

It all depends on what your current mile time is...Without knowing how much you need to improve, there is no way of telling you how much you need to work . Goodluck!
Reply:800's lot of 800's. once youve mastered the 800 woth atleast a 2:18 -2:20 you can work your way to the mile
Reply:three words milage, milage, milage. go out running 6 days a week for 45-60 minutes this will build an effective endurance base. after this you can do some interval training, which includes running repeats of 200m, 300m, 400m, 600m,and/ or 800m. this should get you ready because it sure worked for me
