How does one divide life's plans into 5, 10, 20...years? ?

Same as the rest of us- plan each 5 year in advance and at 5 year stage show how many of your plans have been realised. And go on from there.

Hi all, Can any one help out with short term tax plan savings[ for 2 years or 3 years]?

very easy, visit www.stocksidea.com , they are consultants in india in stocks, mutual funds and all finance related info.
Hi all, Can any one help out with short term tax plan savings[ for 2 years or 3 years]?
1st option: i think u shud invest in some good tax saving mutual funds if ur investment period is for 3 yrs as most of the tax saving funds have a lock-in period of 3 yrs. but trust me its good returns whn invested with a long term view.

2nd option: invest in some tax saving insurance plans.

Prepare a self-improvement plan for the next one year.?

it is easy but are you trying to improve your work habits -- your financial status or personal life or what -- too broard of and question!!!

I have one daughter, who is 4 years old. plz. suggest me a best child plan for my daughter?

I have one daughter, who is 4 years old. plz. suggest me a best child plan for my daughter?
please first stop thinking separet plans for children. so called children plans are waste. you do onething just invest in Mutual fund under systematic investment plan in any of AMCs like Birla, Kotak, Reliance , SBI, BNP sunderam for a period of 15 years you will see the reults. First you consult a MF Distributor for detailed discussion then think and invest for your better planning

I am 15 years old and i plan on making my own business selling gaming stuff is there any one...?
You can't start a home business...Not unless your parents are the ones running the show. Not Ebay or anywhere else.

Because everytime you buy something or get a haircut...or anything else, it's a contract between the buyer and seller for those goods or services.

You're a minor. Minors can't enter into contracts for any purpose.

Will 3 years of mental trauma affect pregnancy and the health of the baby if we plan for one in a few months?

My husband and I had some issues between us but we are getting better and have resolved the issues and moving ahead. With this background of 3 years of fighting, mental strain and depression, is it ok to consider trying to start on the process of having a baby in another 4-5 months? I have not been on any pre-natals etc nor have had a great diet over this period. Do you think my stressed condition over 3 years will affect my pregnancy and the health of my baby if we try and conceive? I am 28 and have had irregular periods through out my life and hence am worried if I delay then there might be more complications getting pregnant.

What can I do from this moment to ensure that I can have a good pregnancy and a healthy baby?

Would appreciate your help.
Will 3 years of mental trauma affect pregnancy and the health of the baby if we plan for one in a few months?
Why not right??? If you are positive about having a baby this time why not... as you have said... you both resolved the problem and moving on now... everyone has a chances of becoming happy... Baby is not a problem we should not take it as a problem... it is a gift... having an angel around... it can gives us happiness and since you are 3 years married then go ahead... you might just need a baby as well in order to have a happy family...

It appears though that both of you are cooperative in resolving the issues so don't think it might be hard in having a baby... Finally your mental trauma will not affect the baby if it is not happening while you are conceiving... The thing is whenever you feel down just talk to someone... or whenever you feel crying just cry it out... but never keep it in yourself coz that's the time that It can affect the baby...

Go on with your plans... I'm pretty sure that if you will look things forward everything will be in its proper place... so don't be anxious of having an angel soon... you and your husband will gonna have a happy family soon... 3 years is enough in getting to know each other and adjusting to each others personality... so think positive and go ahead! Good Luck!
Reply:I would wait a few months to see if you really want to have a baby with this guy. Children do not solve your relationship problems. In fact, they tend to amplify them.

Healthwise, you should be fine.
Reply:dont have any children. . . .please!!!

There are no plans this year as my husband will be working on New Year's Eve. Guess I shouldn't complain so much. Lots of people will be working. I will be staying home and bringing in the New Year by watching it on TV. Happy New Year 2008!

陌stanbul for its glamorious history. But you may prefer marmaris; alanya; bodrum

Reply:Oh, you will love it. Istanbul for sure. Go to the Grand Baazar, but also don't miss the local market on the side street beside the main square by the bridge (you will know it when you see it). It is near a large mosque. There is a restaurant on the second floor of the buildings overlooking the square called "Hamdi". Go there for a traditional Turkish meal. Tell them you want a typical meal. You won't be disappointed. Also, visit the Blue mosque in Istanbul. I highly recommend Kusadasai as well. From there you will be able to visit Ephasus and the Virgin Mary's home. You will love Turkey. Enjoy your trip!
Reply:agree with all the others

but take the ferry across the river to the asian side of istanbul.

non touristy, friendly people, great food, cheaper shopping
Reply:I think you should find more info on the tours that your country offers to people going to Turkey. Its great if your a first timer. And you dont have to worry about accomodation or whether they are ripping you off as your tour guide will be their to assist you. And if you like somewhere you can alwayz go back after the tour has ended. Thats what i did and i loved it..

Places id recommend: Bodrum, Fethiye, Cesme, Kalkan....

2-Marmaris

7-Efes
Reply:We recently spent 2 weeks in Turkey and found that the best places are when you leave Istanbul! It's a nice city, and good to spend a few days in (go to the Eygptian bazaar near the ferry stops, the blue mosque and the palace gardens, take a ferry ride around) but there's so many other great places in Turkey! Ephesus is amazing if you want to see an impressive Roman city (complete with toilets, library, theatre and even brothel!) and there's some pretty seaside towns like Kas and Fetihye, but our two favourite places were -

- Cappadocia (stay in Gorome, Star Cave pension was nice) - you absolutely have to visit this area, the lava has been eroded away to form a landscape so bizarre you can't get enough of it! Somewhere I read it described as 'the Grand Canyon on acid' and you can easily spend 3 or 4 days just wandering or cycling or hiring a scooter and exploring all the valleys and towns, climbing inside the ancient monasteries (called fairy chimneys - you'll see why!) and getting lost in underground cities. You can't miss it if you go to Turkey.

- Olympos was also great for different reasons - it's down by the beach and scattered with ancient ruins and looks so picturesque! You can stay in a treehouse (we stayed at Kadir's which was great fun, lots of partying and chilling and fun people, but there are quieter places too) and go to see the eternal flame (the Olympic flame!) at night - remember to take marshmallows!

Hope this helps! Remember thank you in Turkish sounds like "Two sugars and dream" - will make you friends!

As I am staying in my parents house for the past 4 months, should I wait for 8 more months to file a petition as per sec 13b of Hindu marriage act
Married since one and a half year , arranged marriage age 24 husband age 29, planning to divorce on a mutual?
Ask a respected attorney and don't take suggestions from an email list. This is your income for the rest of your life we are talking about.

Also, alimony is calculated differently in different states in the United States. That means that the figure won't be the same in Texas as it will in New York and that will be different in California, too. Ask an attorney.
Reply:you need to get out and get a job. just because you were married for 1 1/2 yrs doesnt mean he has to support you after divorce...he ows you nothing. GET A JOB DONT BE LAZY!!!!!!
Reply:If you are in the United States then you need to talk to an attorney in your state as laws vary. I do not think religion has anything to do with it. An attorney will be able to advise you on what is best for you. Do not get an attorney that will be more on your husbands side then yours though.
Reply:I don't know of a single state in the US that will award alimony with only 1.5yrs of marriage. And the courts won't care about Hindu law or customs.

She needs to get prepared to support herself before she bails out of the marriage.
Reply:Mutual consent, not "concent."

You need a tax expert. We don't have alimony where I live so I don't know how that works, but I don't think you can claim marriage expenses. If you have the kids, you get the exemption for them.

Dont worry, my bloke dumped me two days before xmas, then got off with his ex infront of me on xmas eve, then toyed with my feelings by saying he missed me over boxing day and the few days after, then said he didnt know what to do coz he liked his ex, then New Years Eve i had my drink spiked and have 4 hours of blank memory, only to have him tell me he DOESNT want me. doesnt that jsut tell u something abt him- he wants the club to do well even after he leaves
Reply:Sir Alex has always said that he will leave Man United with a team capable of being successful after he has gone so its no surprise that he still plans for the future even if he wont be there.

I think he will definitely go in the next 2 or 3 years the only way i think he will stay a bit longer is if he doesn't at least equal Liverpool's 18 league titles record as that has always been his main ambition! When first arriving at Old Trafford, Ferguson declared it his intention to “knock Liverpool off their f-----g perch”

I am 19 years old and plan to adopt a baby boy one day, and want to know will he love me as his father?

I am now 19 years old, but when I am around 27 years old I do plan on adopting a baby boy, not old than 2 years old. Yes, I do want my own child biologically, but I do want to adopt a child preferrably a baby boy, and one of a race other than my own. I don't think I will ever get married, because I know i could not commit myself to the same person for 10, 20, or 30 years or longer, so I wouldn't put myself in that predicament. However I do want my own children biologiclly no more than 2 biologically. Which I would hope to have primarily in my custody. When I woud adopt would the child be mine, and could he stay in my care. Once i sign papers could his birth parents take him back? I plan on caring for him, loving him like my own, and buying him nice things, but will he love me back? I know lots of adoptive parents out there abuse their kids, but i wouldn't do that, I would truly be there for him emotionally and financially, I'd spoil him. I would truly care for him. Advice
I am 19 years old and plan to adopt a baby boy one day, and want to know will he love me as his father?
I think these are odd things for a nineteen y.o. man to be thinking about.

You seem to have given these decisions a great deal of thought, but are quite rigid in their execution. If there's one thing mature adults realize is that 'life' is usually what happens while you're making other plans.

I'm guessing you feel lonely and incomplete. You seem to want to 'fill' this loneliness with an adopted child who would be coming from a desperate situation. This would be creating MORE problems. For one, you wouldn't be 'working' on yourself, to figure out why you need to fill yourself up with other people's problems, and, you'd have a child in your care that really needs mature, selfless parents not getting his needs met.

Adopted children deserve more than you can offer. You might want to look into getting some therapy to find out why at nineteen you've decided that you don't want to ever marry, and want to raise a child 'from another race'.

Good luck.
Reply:So I assume you鈥檒l be hiring a surrogate to get your biological children, as that is really the only way I could see you (father) getting primary custody heck in that situation you鈥檇 have sole custody. As the surrogate would just be providing a service carrying the child, possible donating her egg, or using a donated egg from the egg bank. If you adopt that child becomes legally your child and would stay with you, you would be responsible for taking care and providing for your adopted child. That child would be entitled to anything that birthchildren are entitled to such as inheritance, child support (if you married and divorced) etc.

Since your planning to adopt as a single person then you would be the only parent of this child. Birthparents have a window of opportunity that they can get a birthchild back but the longest is a few months. Once that time has expired and the adoption is final and as long as the adoption was done completely right then no they can鈥檛 ever get the child back. One of the biggest things is both biological parents must sign their rights away. Or there must be an attempt to contact the biological father notifying him of the child. Some i have heard place an ad in the paper and if the birthfather does not respond in a given time. The adoption can move forward since he did not come foward in the alotted time Yes if you take care of him and love him treat him no different mostly likely he will love you back. Most love comes with time even with natural children. The important thing is that you love them and show and give them love. Lets not forget that there are a lot of biological parents that abuse their children too.

I wouldn鈥檛 advice spoiling any child btw.

I also wanted to add you say you are not a person who is into committed for long period of time. A child is at least 18 year committed and even once they turn 18 they will always be your child. So do you feel you are only non-committal in a romantic relationship? If that鈥檚 the only thing cool, marriage is not for everyone and I truly respect you for not wanting to put yourself into a committed relationship when you don鈥檛 feel you鈥檇 be up to it in the long run. Marriage is meant to be forever and going into it with mind frame that it wouldn鈥檛 last or that you don鈥檛 want it to last well dose not bode well. Then again your young when your in your late 20鈥檚 or even 30鈥檚 you may change your mind.
Reply:To answer the question in your title - it's all just luck of the draw, no one can tell you for sure.

My advice would be to seek some therapy and discover why you feel commitment phobic - at such a young age even. Also explore what needs of yours you are expecting children to be able to fill.

Love in adoption isn't an equation about how much stuff you can buy or how much love you can give, though most adopters seem to think that's all that needs to go into an adoption. Check out Nancy Verrier. Learn about adoption losses, get a better idea of what you'll face. It's not too easy to be a rescuer.
Reply:honestly, my advice would be to focus a bit more on why you have made up your mind at 19 yo that you 1) wish to not be married, 2) wish to adopt a "male" child, 3) wish to have 2 biological children, yet want no relationship with their mother....

i don't know, but i think you need probably need to rethink this a bit more. adoption is not as easy as "i want a boy to raise." there is a great deal of loss, emotions, and responsibility to the potential bmom AND adoptee involved in adoption.

give yourself some time. educate yourself on the impact of adoption, having children with no desire to be with the mother, and you might be surprised how your perspective will change as you get older.
Reply:"lots of adoptive parents abuse their kids?" You have got to be kidding, where are you statistics? If you treat you son or daughter, adopted or biological with love and respect he/she will do the same. My husband and I have 2 adopted kids- and we have no more problems if they had been biological. Being a biological father does not mean you will treat your child well, my husband's father did not treat my hubby well and he was biological.
Reply:If you treat the kid as if you are his father then the boy will think of you as his father. Plain and simple.
Reply:i have sooooo many friends that are adopted and they LOVE their parents like there is no tomorrow! i have one friend who was born HIV pos and her birth mother died and she went through a faze where she "Hated" her mother and tried to block her out because she was scared of losing another mother so that might be a fear for your future child! Good luck, i plan on adopting too!!
Reply:the relationship will blossom as you two spend time together. you can't force that kind of a relationship, but if you stay true to your word and act as a father to him, then he will treat you as his dad.
Reply:I am an adoptive parent. There is no difference between adoptive and biological.

Know the laws in your state and do not deviate from them. If you do they can come back with recourse. Our lawyer in NM went extra steps to nail the adoption shut. They had no way of coming back. The birth mother had no intention of coming back at us and thanks us every time she calls.
Reply:I just read through your question and I could write a book trying to answer these questions.

Firstly, you are 19 years old. You are just into adulthood and, rightly so, you are thinking about what you would like to do with your life. It's good that you are thinking about the future - just be aware that the future does not always go as planned - we do not know what surprises life has in store for us.

You want to adopt. There are lots of children in this world who would benefit from having a kind, loving relationship with a parent who adopts them. However, bringing up a child, especially on your own, is a very hard thing to do.

If you cannot commit yourself to a person - why do you think you can commit to a child (a very young person). They are not dolls - they need full time care - they have lots of needs and they will require more commitment than most partners need. When children are young you have to do everything for them, organise their lives, keep them safe etc. I don't think you've thought enough about what you're saying - I think you have a daydream at this point - but hopefully, as you mature you may make an informed decision to go ahead (if you are given approval).

The adoption process is complicated - you have to be thoroughly vetted in the process and there are relatively few young children placed up for adoption.

If you do adopt a child then you officially become the parent. These days though the child is usually told that he or she is adopted and they may have information about their biological parents - they may be in contact with the family so you have to be able to deal with that. There could come a time (when the child gets older) when she or he chooses to spend more time with the original family - if it is possible.

As for whether a child will love you - I think that children adapt very easily and many are prepared to love the people who care about them. You have to earn respect and you have to work hard at being a good parent if you want to have a good relationship with the child. You must also be aware that some of the children in care come from very difficult backgrounds - they may bring bad habits and behaviours that you find unacceptable - it may take time for them to change their ways. Children are not perfect.

If you really do want to adopt at some time in your life then I suggest that you get some experience working with children (paid or voluntary). Find out what they enjoy, learn to identify with them. Start making enquiries as to what you will have to do to adopt a child. The process is not as easy as you think.

I hope that things go well for you - that you do become a great parent one day.

Good luck.
Reply:I can only speak from my own experience as an adoptee. I was adopted from Korea into white family when I was almost 2 years old. I love my family period - there are no reservations, doubts, ill-feelings or anything. My parents are my parents. I don't look at them as my "adoptive" parents. They are the people who loved me, raised me, were there for me through good %26amp; bad. If you are a good father, your child will love you.

Not that it's any of my business, but I had to comment on how PLANNED everything sounds. Remember that life happens when you're planning for it to happen. :) You sound like a smart guy who wants everything all mapped out.....but sometimes life just has other ideas for us. Don't be resistent to something if it doesn't fit into your neat little plan, ok? For instance, even though right now you don't think you'll get married, don't rule it out. You might pass up a wonderful, incredible woman who would be a huge help in nurturing %26amp; loving these children you plan on having. My own husband never thought he'd get married either. He wanted to just travel the world unhindered %26amp; never thought he'd find a woman who'd be as adventurous....but he was wrong! :) Goodluck to you!
Reply:if u teach him good values and show him that u genuinly love him just as if he were a biologivally yours then yes
Reply:I hope you will give this a lot of thought because a committment to a child is forever. Not just for 10 or 20 years. If you don't think that you have it in you to give that to another person then you should not adopt. Kids grow up it is true, but even adult children still need the love and approval of loving and devoted parents. That doesn't end on a kids 18th birthday. Life is hard and choosing to adopt a mixed race child requires even more dedication and responsibility as you are dealing with not only the issue of being abandoned by his birth parents but also the issue of where do I belong and who am I . You should not be so worried about whether or not that child can fulfill your need for love, but if you will be able to fulfill his.

Im planning on joining the Navy after high school or after i take one or two years of college?
If you can afford to go to college first then do it so you can move higher in rank. Trust me I came in as a E-1 and it takes two years to take the E-4 exams.
Reply:You would go in to the Navy at a higher rank if you graduate college first.

Why not check into the Navel Academy. You have to have good grades, but it would be another option for you.

Personally I would advise you to go to college first. After 2/3years in the Navy it is easy to either sign up again or get out and not make it to college.
Reply:Consider college for 4 years with naval ROTC and you can start as an officer.
Reply:if you join the navy right after high school then you can have them pay for your college when you get out, rather then paying for it yourself and then going into the navy

Any one know of any churches in america that are planning a christian trip to isreal next year?

Hagee goes annually as do many . Even the small church I grew up in would form a group with other churches to get package rates.

Check with the council at your own church.

Same prob here bro and im 15...I'm in gym class now and I am planning on doing Cross Country for the first time next year...maybe you should join a sport or you can do push ups sit ups in your room
Reply:First, you can try this exercise. It's called a pike-up. It'll mainly target your lower abs, but of course it'll help out the rest. It's actually a pretty difficult exercise.. you will definitely be able to feel the difference after doing them everyday. I suggest you do them in sets of 25 (no stops in between) and 2 sets each day.

Instructions:

1. Lie flat on the ground, preferably carpet so that the floor won't hurt your back.

2. Put your arms straight above your head on the ground. You should now be lying completely straight on the ground.

3. Lift both legs and arms simultaneously until your hands touch your feet or shins, keeping your legs and arms straight as you do this. Your feet and hands should be roughly over your belly button or center of gravity.

4. Lower your arms and legs simultaneously back to your starting position, resisting gravity by moving slowly downward. Once back at your starting position, you have completed one repetition of the exercise.

5. Repeat this multiple times in a row until you feel winded or your limbs begin to burn. This constitutes a 'set'.

6. Rest between 'sets' until you feel ready to repeat the cycle.

Also, in addition to this exercise (which I think is the best and yet the least known), I found a website you can follow too! Here it is: http://exercise.about.com/od/abs/ss/abex...
Reply:do what i call lemon squeezes

do a sit up with ur legs tooso when ur arms go up ur legs come in, also do crunches like crazy
Reply:JUST BUY ONE! BUDWISER IS THE BEST VALUE
Reply:there are millions ways to get a six pack... What i do everyday is (i have bin working out 4 a long time so you might wanna take these step by step) i lay on the ground but i put 60 pounds of weights on my chest and do sit ups(thats for upper abs) for lower abs lay on the ground and raise just your feet 6 inches up from the ground for about 10 seconds and add 5 seconds every time. that has gotten to easy so i have 35 pounds of weights laying on my legs... and if you wanna see it you have to have less then 10% body fat so do alittle bit dieting untill you see it. and that is what i do everyday and i almost have a 8 pack somehow... if you want more info on that or other muscles just e-mail me @ hi.there@yahoo.com

I need to plan a birthday party, as i haven't had one for 3 years-- can anyone help me with ideas?

I haven't had a birthday party in 3 years-- and my friends are bugging me about it! I love DOGS, Grey's MAJORLY Anatomy, and Friends (the tv show) and traveling-- I've been thinking about it for ages, and haven't decided on a theme or how to host it or food or ANYTHING! PLEASE CAN YOU HELP ME!
I need to plan a birthday party, as i haven't had one for 3 years-- can anyone help me with ideas?
If you're planning on inviting a lot of people, hiring a party planner is your best bet. However, if its a small group of a few good friends, it really shouldn't be a problem for you to plan it on your own.

I think most importanly, you should decide on a budget.

Everything else can only be decided once you have a basic financial plan.

An elaborate theme w/ props, etc would work out to be very pretty expensive, so stick to something simple.

A theme is a very personal choice, depending on what your likes are. Be careful to take your guests into account, having a pink themed party %26amp; inviting boys would probably put them off.

You could decide on a colour or character theme. Ask your friends to dress up according %26amp; decorate the party venue accordingy. A colour theme is usually lovely in pictures, because you can almost always find all party paraphernalia in the same colour, %26amp; can also make cute coloured drinks. Recipies are easily available online, %26amp; you could also have coloured sugar rims. :)

Have your table layed our buffet style or have different stations for different types of food.

Make sure you have plenty of basic party food like chips, dip, salsa %26amp; soda.

Alternatively, you could have everything set out, fajita ingredients for example, %26amp; have your guests make their own wraps, tacos, etc. Tex Mex food is really easy to organise, so you shouldnt have much of a problem. Just make sure its consistent w/ your theme.

Here is a great link for ideas %26amp; invites.

What years did VW Jettas come in green? I plan on getting a used one but I would really like it in green.?

Every year has been offered with some kind of green paint for at least the last twenty years. Its just a matter of locating a green one because they are some what rare.

Who is one of Jehovah's Witnesses that is currently attending a 4-year College or plans to ?

My sister and her husband (both Jehovah's Witnesses) are currently attending Berkeley University. Her husband was just accepted at Cambridge.

Also in Davis (U.C.D.) and Berkeley the local congregations are practically all students of the university.

I am not currently attending but a grad, does that count?
Who is one of Jehovah's Witnesses that is currently attending a 4-year College or plans to ?
I personally am not Currently attending, but a dear sister attended, with her roommate, and roommate's daughter.

A family friend's daughter, had just finished college when we saw her a couple years ago in Cali.

I don't know off hand any Witnesses, that I know for sure, are Currently attending, but then I don't press people to tell me there private business.
Reply:I attended for 2 years, got an associate of Science degree in Electronics Technology. Later thought about and started on classes for an engineering degree, but by then had too many responsibilities (kids, husband, house, need to work etc) to complete it.

Higher education isn't forbidden. It is simply that our God should always come first in our lives. Sometimes such programs just take up too much time.
Reply:We did have a young sister who was going to college to become a teacher, she went 2 years while pioneering, she enjoyed pioneering so much that she gave up college and is doing very well in the ministry as well as in our congregation.
Reply:I'm currently in a 2-year nursing program. But, it pretty much takes 4-5 years to become an RN. I might go to Cal State afterwards, but I like taking things one step at a time. Who knows....I might change my mind. :) The time left is reduced.
Reply:Im graduated from IT school and my hubby who was born as a JW is an Optometrist. I know a lot of young bros and sis even elders children who are attending college right now.
Reply:I am graduate of Accountancy (4 year course in the Philippines - some even 5 years)
Reply:Jehovah's Witnesses I've known frown upon higher education as a matter of principle.

Im planning a car hire trip in USA on one leg of our honeymoon next year....?

I presume some of you out have already done this on your holidays. What advice could you offer before i go and try pre arrange this.

Starting in San Diego and about 400 mile drive.

All advice welcome. Thks.
Im planning a car hire trip in USA on one leg of our honeymoon next year....?
gas prices are absolutely unreliable in the States..... Seriously, the price of a gallon can jump or drop DRAMATICALLY in the matter of 1 day. Just reserve a lot of extra dough for gas.

Example--- Gas went from 4.20 a gallon to 1.79 in about 2 weeks.
Reply:You should definitely reserve a car in advance. If you can return it where you pick it up it will cost less. One way rentals can be expensive. Your estimate of 400 miles may be low, California is a big state. Try to find a deal with unlimited daily mileage if you can. Here's a link to California's tourism site. You can get maps, travel guides, etc.

I hope you have a great honeymoon.
Reply:G'day,

Well, you could head off in two directions.

North: Drive up to San Francisco along Highway 1, the coastal highway. It is very pretty and has places to stop and relax.

East: Head up to San Bernardino and then take Rt. 66 east to the Grand Canyon. It is a little bit more than 400 miles, but well worth the drive.

For some info on Rt. 66:

Reply:I wouldn't go to the states' for my honeymoon as it's not that remarkable. But if you do go then defiantly rent a car in advance. If the gas prices keep on going the way they are then rentals are defiantly going to be booked. Hope you have a good honeymoon!

What's one important goal you plan to achieve in the next few years?

Why and How? (Answer Seriously)
What's one important goal you plan to achieve in the next few years?
i have agood life and to be rich and travel around the world
Reply:Paying for and sending my kids to University. How? Save...
Reply:I am going to take my teaching tests so that I can be able to teach k-12 art, 5-8 grade history, 5-8 grade science or 5-8 grade reading. I have a degree in Fine Arts/Ceramics, but I really just want to teach until I get my Masters in Art History. My ultimate goal is to get my PHD and teach College Art History. I need a job so I don't have to take out so many student loans for the Masters and PHD, but I also have one daughter and twin sons on the way, so I would like a job with their hours when they get into school. So all that was the why, now for the how. Honestly I have no idea how, except that I plan on logging on and finding a University curriculum of Education classes and go get all the books for them to help me with my tests. I plan on spending the next year or so studying my butt off so I can pass them and get certified.

What about you? What are your goals? You asked us, but you haven't said yours.
Reply:I want to send my son to Oxford. It will be difficult, but he has a partial scholarship.
Reply:Goal: Graduate high school and make it into a good college.

Why: In order to get a well-paying, enjoyable job. Plus, I want to be able to rely on myself.

How: Work hard in school, don't slack off, apply to colleges...

I owe the IRS, one my current payment plan it will be 8 years until they are paid.?

I'm getting married next year. What is the best way to file taxes

If we file joint will he be responsible for my taxes. Any good advice
I owe the IRS, one my current payment plan it will be 8 years until they are paid.?
If you file joint and have a refund coming, they'll take the whole refund toward what you owe unless he files an injured spouse form along with the return - then they'll only take your portion of the return.
Reply:First of all, if I were your intended spouse, I would INSIST that you pay your taxes that are already due ... before marrying you.

Secondly, it's usually better to file jointly, but there are certain circumstances where separate filing is better. Can't say more than that.
Reply:You would file married filing separate. Yes, he would be responsible if you filing jointly. Make sure to file separate so at least he can get the tax return refund otherwise they will take his refund too, to pay your debt.
Reply:You can file married, filing separate
Reply:There is something called the injured spouse. Simply fill out form 8379. Even if you file separately, still fill out form 8379.
Reply:You are getting married, presumably for the rest of your life. Why *shouldn't* your spouse help you get rid of the tax debt?

If you truly consider this your debt, then you need to postpone marriage and figure out a way to pay this off sooner.

While you can file jointly and attach an injured spouse form, this doesn't work in certain states. In those states, the state law on debt applies to debt both before and after the marriage and the IRS is allowed to apply the entire joint refund to the debt.

Are you planning on making a New Years resolution? If so, what is it? Did you make one for this past year?

New Years resolutions for me don't work. The first week of the new year is the "golden period". Several opportunities to make it right. And if you **** up, it's over. You'll feel like a major turd no matter what you do. If you're lucky, whatever you wanted to do will last for a maximum of two days. After that? Screw it.
Are you planning on making a New Years resolution? If so, what is it? Did you make one for this past year?
My resolution, like it has been every year since I was thirteen (7 or 8 years ago)is to find a girl who likes me the way I am, is interesting, pretty, and who I can deeply trust and care about. Someone who isn't a snob or some cutey-pie flirt.
Reply:last year, i made a resolution to not make a resolution, and that worked out just fine. however, as it has now expired, i'm actually going to give it a real try this year, and see if i can quite smoking....... again. yeah.. huh..

methinks i shall feel like a turd, as you've so Accurately pointed out! haha!

Do you have a tradition for Christmas or are you planning on making a new one this year?

any ideas to share?
Do you have a tradition for Christmas or are you planning on making a new one this year?
Yes, we are getting away from the gifts and retail Christmas to a more Christ centered homemade gifts and homemade ornaments type of Christmas. We hide the candy canes that go on our tree on Christmas Eve for the grandkids to find, too. We started that tradition when my oldest grandson was little. They get to eat some and put the rest on the tree. I don't know why, but they just seem to love that. lol We also make C-mas suet and bird ornaments for the birds. We used to string popcorn, cereals and berries for them but it took forever and the little ones can't use a needle and thread. We have others but it would take me more room than I have to write them. Good question. Share one of yours with us.

Put up the tree with my wife (done)

Eat like a pig on Christmas eve (pending)
Reply:My family has several traditions. The kids put up the Christmas tree while I "supervise" (which is the technical word for "make teasing and irrelevent comments whilst I sip hot coffee and watch"). This was completed last weekend.

Next on our list is our annual "assemblage of the tall neighborhood boys" onto our Victorian wrap-around porch, so they can hang our Christmas lights. Since I am 4' 11 3/4" tall, I am unable to assist. However, I do "supervise" (as per the meaning described above).

On the night of Christmas Eve, we always open one small present each. The house lights are off, so the only light comes from the tree's lights. It's really a special time. We typically sit near the tree and talk about the true meaning of Christmas, tell jokes and laugh together about silly stuff.

We traditionally have a HUGE Christmas dinner, but that's unlikely this year due to financial constraints. : (
Reply:Not being Christian every Christmas we go to the movies and then out for Chinese food it is amazing to see how many non-Christians there are doing the same thing.
Reply:You might get better answers in the Christmas Holiday section. I'm not sure Christians are the majority in this section.

.
Reply:i'm telling everyone i'm JW so i don't have to give gifts this year.
Reply:I'm atheist. we put up the fake Christmas tree about the 15th, and buy PJs for the kids to open Christmas eve along with a book about Santa, give them their bath, put them in their new pjs, and send them to bed early, then we have a few drinks and watch tv peacefully until about midnight . we get up Christmas morning, the kids open their presents and my daughter goes to work( heavens forbid they let an atheist have that day off) while the rest of us start to prepare a feast to welcome the new solar year
Reply:We have a family tradition of giving ornaments. When we have an addition to the family, they get an ornament and usually catch on. We have honestly slipped a few times but its kind of nice.

So just thought I would tell ya. Good luck and Happy anniversary to you both, have a good one.

I have not had a perm in about 6-7 years and I plan on getting one.?

Is there any extra precaution I should take? I usually get my hair pressed but it is becoming a hassle!
I have not had a perm in about 6-7 years and I plan on getting one.?
Make sure you do no irritate your scalp prior relaxing your hair.

Buy the right formula for your hair.

Make sure your hair is in good condition before relaxing it.

Read the instructions and take your time when applying the relaxer.
Reply:Don't scratch your scalp, try not to use a brush around the edges, and consult with a good hair dresser.
Reply:Just use a regular relaxer Motions is the best and base it really well.
Reply:Okay, to be more specific are you asking should you have your hair still straight from the press or wash it/wear natural to get the perm? I've been wondering about this myself...

You Will Do Fine, Man I'm Sick.
Reply:there's no formula for getting a full ride scholarship... Your best bet is just to apply to a college WAY below your grade level, but then that probably wont be a good one.

sorry there's no magic 10 step plan, but that's how life is.

Or you can play a sport really well
Reply:First, from reading what you've written, you need to spend more time with your writing and spelling skills.

Next, get involved with activities both in and out of school (sports, clubs, drama, church, 4-H, Scouts, volunteer work at a hospital, etc.). Diversify what you do. You should be able to balance both your school work and extra-curriculars.

Take the ACT when you are a Jr, but also take the PSAT as soon as possible and SAT.

Load up on the challenging courses that your school has to offer. If your school offers AP courses, dual enrollment (high school courses for college credit), and/or take evening/summer courses at your local college, do those. Grades are very important, but so are the types of subjects you take. For example, it is better to get a "B" (or maybe a "C") in Chemistry than an "A" in General Science.

Also, go online and look at the types of courses needed for a pre-med student at various colleges. It'll give you an idea of what you need to be taking at the high school level.

Good luck.
Reply:I've gotten a full ride to college for 3 years in a row now. All i did is fill out a FAFSA, and all my college is paid for because my income is too low for them to expect me to pay. My income is above $30,000 a year..
Reply:well the most prestigious clubs are beta club, national honors society, and yeah i dont know what else. but you have to maintain many public service hours to stay in them so yeah colleges will know about the hours.

join many clubs and sports and all the ap classes you can handle
Reply:Oh, hopefully a doctor would be able to spell the word at least :-P

Good Grades are good

Class choices are important too, a B in a harder class can be worth more than an A+ in a pointless one. For a doctor -- as far as you can get in science is good, anatomy %26amp; AP chem if you can.

Extracurricular activities can make up for some grades.

Speech/Debate team prepares you for interviews AND works on your writing skills which are good for essays (which you'll have to write to get into college).

A community service organization is an easy way to record %26amp; help you find volunteer opportunities. Does your school have a Key Club?

In all of these groups, you can get s position -- Secretary, V.Pres, Treasurer, Committee chair - probably as soon as next year because few others want it.

And even a sport doesn't hurt, if you do that.

You don't need to do EVERYTHING, but pick a few things and show you're smart AND involved AND willing to take responsibility (lead).

When you get closer, you can do research, pick schools, SAT, etc. etc. which is important too, but not for at least another year or two.

Planning to move to Germany early next year. Does any one know how long it will take for me to get a job?

Looking at Berlin and Munich as my first two places. If no luck in those two places, then maybe Koln. Any help or advice anyone has out there will be most helpful. :)
Planning to move to Germany early next year. Does any one know how long it will take for me to get a job?
Rather try to find a job BEFORE moving there, germany still has a high unemployment rate.
Reply:first you should learn German but there are jobs like at McDonald's you also could get with a just basic knowledge in German...but it's not paid well!
Reply:It really depends what kind of jobs you're looking for; what are your qualifications; whether you've got a job permit ; and whether you can speak German.

Berlin is the cheapest to live in (and the coolest), but also the one with the most unemployment.

You can try the following to find a job:

If you're serious, I recommend you'd start applying for jobs before actually coming to Germany.
Reply:if you kno the german language then it should take you weeks but if you dont kno s!@# ...then expect looking at months or years to get a job...

I have a wife and a one year old son, and i am planning on joining the national guard.?

AM I DOINGB THE RIGHT DECITION?

this is my situation,i am 18 years old and i have a wife and a one year old son,an i been wanting to join the national guard, but now that i have a family its hard for me.the resons i want to join are the following; diciplin, geting in shape, getting away for a while and the expirience. i am currently confused,i feel like i need to get away and i feel this is a good way to do it. i just hope i do not do the wrong decition, can someone tell me if it is worth it? or should i just stay home? plz help me!
I have a wife and a one year old son, and i am planning on joining the national guard.?
Thing is you will just get away for a bit and then you will return to the same life. Nothing wrong with that at all. But what will happen is that you get in, see life and wish you had gone active.

18, wife and a child? I would just go active as you will get better job offers when signing. You, your family, the future and all will be all set.
Reply:This is a personal decsion...

Honestly it was the best and smartest thing I have ever done. I was not a parent at the time I joined but a young 18 year old who thought of nothing but myself.

I now have a family, a career, friends that I will keep for a lifetime, and the respect of my peers. I don't think I could ask for more.

I have been deployed and it is tough but I just look at the pay off when I can receive my 20 year letter and say that I didn't quit this.

Unlike some of my friends I have job security and that is a huge thing in this day and time.
Reply:its all up to you, its your choice, look at all your options and if its something you really want to do then go for it, just expect you might be deployed and spend a lot of time away from home and your family. Good Luck.

A year out in Australia two Irish gals and we dont have a plan!!! wana help us with one??? ;o) plez x?
I would hang around Sydney for the first few months as the weather and beaches are much nicer . Plenty of time for Melbourne Later. You should not have too much trouble getting bar work as Christmas is a busy time so lots of places like to put on casual staff at this time. Sydneysiders are very friendly and they love Irish people. There are plenty of Irish pubs around so you shouldn't be too lonely . I would check out Backpackers type accommodation as that should be the cheapest. Also check out the hostel in the Southern suburb of Cronulla (1/2 an hour from the city) I have heard that it is good
Reply:If you want somewhere to stay in Sydney for Christmas you're probably better off staying there once you arrive. We got there in September and there wasn't a huge amount of accommodation around (although there were more of us). The hostels get booked out fairly far in advance for Christmas, and the prices go up a good bit too. There's one in Railway square that's really nice, one of the best hostels I've stayed in anywhere. Coogee's a great place to live in Sydney, nice beachside suburb, great bars, you can get a bus straight in to the city easily. Really easy to meet people in Sydney, we found everyone really friendly, even though lots of people had told us otherwise.
Reply:Staying around the Sydney area would be a good idea, you could easily pick up some work in the hospitality area as the silly season is not far afar and extra staff will be needed in lots of places, etc. bar work, waitressing. Cleaning jobs are always good because you can work early in the morning and that gives you lots of daylight hours to look around.

Find a good backpackers for a long term stay and you may even get work there.

When you eventually go up north, I don't think you will have any trouble finding work in the same area, there is also crop picking, pretty hard work but it pays well.

Most of the backpacker places all around the country will have a board advertising all kinds of work.

You could also check out a website called couch surfing, where people will offer you a couch or bed for one or two nights, its a good website I have used it many times around the globe and there are many Australians registed.

You'll love Australia, good luck.

My boyfriend and i are about to hit our one year in august. I really love him so i'm really excited. But theres one problem...I love, love this band and there playing around where i live on the same day. My boyfriend is not allowed to go out that day, so i was just going to go to his house for our one year. But i really want to see this band play because there my favorite...i really don't know what to do...
I have plans on mine and my boyfriends one year what do i do?
Tell your boyfriend, I'm sure he will understand.
Reply:I would be with my boyfriend.

I mean the band will always play again on another day/

You should share this day with your boyfriend.

You could always see the band another day.

This day is really special.

I can honestly tell you where I was on my boyfriend and and

my one year annaversary.

I was with him in La.

PREGNANCY AFTER WLS (WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY) within one year post op by accident or planned...?

I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT HOW PREGNANCIES WERE FOR WLS PATIENTS WHO GOT PG WITHIN 1 YEAR OF SURGERY BY ACCIDENT OR TTC? HOW WAS THE PG WAS IT DIFFICULT AND WAS IT SUCCESSFUL? MY SURGEON SAID WAIT 2 YEARS BUT ATLEAST 16 MONTHS...MY OB/GYN SAID HE WANTS ME TO START AFTER 3 MONTHS OF BEING ON BCP... I JUST WANT TO FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN GIVE ME INSIGHT ON HOW THEIR EXPERIENCE WAS BEING PG WITHIN ONE YEAR POST OP... THANX IN ADVANCE FOR ANY ANSWERS...
PREGNANCY AFTER WLS (WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY) within one year post op by accident or planned...?
In April, i just had my 1 yr out of WLS. My husbnad and i started trying in April to get PG (Dr. okayed this) and we conceived in May!

My dr. gave the the okay at 1 year. I am almost to goal weight so he didnt see a problem. I am already down 173lbs!

i'll let you know how the PG goes...
Reply:I don't know what the chances of you finding someone who had similar situation are, but in my opinion I would go with what the doctor that did the surgery said, at least 16 months. Some people get pregnant their first month trying and I think after only three months after a weight loss surgery that that would set you back a lot with having cravings and eating more for two. You have to make sure you steady first. Good luck
Reply:Personally, I don't believe in weight loss surgery but if you want a child, I would strongly suggest wating at least 1-2 years after this surgery as your body is goign from big to little and tne going to be stretching out agian. It's not going to know what to do!

It may be valid after you earn it. Preston University is not listed in the Official MBA Guide, so it is not possible to compare it with other schools. If you contact them, mention the Guide to them and suggest they join. It is the primary source of information for students looking for an appropriate MBA program.

Can I file one of my w2's this year, file my other return next year and then set up a payment plan?

I have a w2 from when I sold cars for most of the year. That's about a $1100 rebate. Then I switched careers and now I'm considered self employed. I owe about $3000 in taxes because of that, if I used the $1100 rebate. Can I file my w2 (where i get the $1100 rebate), and then file my self employed tax return next year with my other return for next year and set up a payment plan with the irs? This is going be my last year being self employed to be honest, as I'm moving after christmas. So my reasoning for all this is, I dont want to spend $3,000 + next years amount due in the middle of a BIG move. And it's a move for a career opportunity.

Is this even possible? I know its a bit confusing and makes no sense what so ever.
Can I file one of my w2's this year, file my other return next year and then set up a payment plan?
In 2006 I filed without one w-2 form. I forgot about it. Now that being said, the IRS is quick! They sent me a letter saying I needed to pay them back almost $2000.00. Since 2007 (tax year--2008 refund) they have taken every one of my tax returns to include the stimulus payment last year.

This year the debt will be paid as my refund is more than I owe them.

They will take the money back. Guaranteed. I wouldn't recommend it, but I understand your question.
Reply:technically you could file your taxes w/out the w-2 you don't want to use...get your refund, then you would have to file an amendment..which you would owe the 3000 then ....PLUS interest and penalties...and then you could set up a payment plan...
Reply:No you may not. The law requires that income is reported in the year received. If you are unable to pay any balance due you may go online to the IRS and request an installment plan. They will charge you a fee of $105 if you make monthly payments, $53 if you do direct debit from your checking account and $43 if your income is below a certain level. If you can pay within 120 days there is no charge. This is the site:

Reply:That depends on whether or not your received a form from your "employer" who contracted you out. If you did, they may have sent a copy to the IRS. If they did, then the IRS will know that you did not include that income. Plus, just because you were self-employed doesn't mean that you will owe the taxes. I would fill out the tax forms both ways to see if I qualified for any tax credits. Do you have children or any other credits you can claim? You may still qualify for EIC, depending on your income. If you file the form next year, you will have to do it as an amended form. You can't just include an old w2 on a different year.
Reply:No. You cannot knowingly file an inaccurate or incomplete tax return. Read the perjury statement by the signature line on your tax return.

Prepare a complete and correct return and file it. Pay what you can with the return and then set up a payment plan for the balance due. That's the ONLY legal way to proceed.

If you fudge it, the IRS will notice the error at some point and will bill you for the taxes due, plus penalties and interest. The schedule that they match up income may not match with your desire to pay at some later date.
Reply:If you file your taxes with just your W-2, you will probably get the refund.

However, the IRS (around the middle of the year, when it gets all its records) will send you a letter saying (you said such-and-such, we think is it so-and-so, if you agree, send us a check for $4,100 (using your figure), plus penalties and interest of more than you expect. If you disagree, you have this much time to present your case (paraphrased).

This would be the nicest scenario. This amount is actually into the level of fraud, and can charge quite a lot of penalties.

If you really cannot pay, best to file anyway and pay what you can. THEN you can start an installment agreement, and cut the penalties way down.

You file all your income from 2008 on 2008 taxes, from 2009 on 2009 taxes. No mixing or matching. And, yes, this is illegal, but unless it is a very large amount of money, the IRS will pursue penalties instead of jail time.
Reply:Dear Green: The best way is to file everything this year. If you owe money it is not due until Apr. 15. You can also set up an installment agreement with the IRS (Form9465). If you make payments as per the agreement they will leave you alone. Read the instructions for form 9465.

Are there any Christian authors because I plan to become one when I am twenty years old at least?

Are you looking for authors who are Christian, or Christian authors? In any case CS Lewis, John Donne, Shakespear
Are there any Christian authors because I plan to become one when I am twenty years old at least?
How "old at least" are you now? (you might begin by learning to use the occasional comma.)

If you live in the West, most of the authors you have read will have been Christian, and a good number will be atheists or agnostics raised in the Christian tradition.

Or do you refer to people who write about Christianity, or constantly indicate that they are Christians?

There is one Christian writer that deserves attention, in my opinion, and that is Clive Staples Lewis. He wrote a great deal, and much of what he wrote is called Christian apology.

I wish you luck in outdoing him, as his writing and thinking are both very impressive, for a Christian. :-)
Reply:Of Course. Tim LaHaye (of the "Left Behind" series), Max Lucado, Beth Moore,Joyce Meyer, etc...

(Good luck...but why wait until you are twenty?)
Reply:SAINT THOMAS AQUINAS COMES TO MIND..A THEOLOGIAN/PHILOSOPHERAND WRITER!!!!READINGS ABOUT SAINT FRANCIS OF ASSISSI COULD BE REWARDING FOR YOU!!!THE NEW TESTAMENT HAS LOTS OF INSIGHTS AND INFORMATION ON THE PATH YOU SEEM SET TOWARD!!!I WISH YOU LUCK AND I LAUD YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!!
Reply:I would recommend C.S. Lewis. Fiction or non fiction, I think he is one of the finest writers I've been privileged to read. There are many other Christian authors, of course, and if you visit a bookstore or library they'll be happy to show you books.
Reply:of course!

Maybe you should try showing him what you like and if you don't know you should experiment and then let him know how can you expect him to satisfy you when you don't know how to satisfy yourself or know what you like?
Reply:Vowels, use them. They are your friend and help everyone understand you and not assume you're retarded. :)

Tell him you're not satisfied, ask yourself what you feel you need. If it's not him, you shouldn't stay with him. Seems the best approach from what I can gather. It's hard to understand about 95% of what you said. Seriously. Vowels.
Reply:well it sounds to me like your not ready for the commitment .relax and it will become clear to you. if the sex is not good think twice about spending the rest of your life in that fashion.

Could we get a unified health plan going using one half of years war costs?

by bringing home the troops we could use 1/2 of a years war costs and impliment a unified health care system in america
Could we get a unified health plan going using one half of years war costs?
Reading some of the opinions here makes me wonder how seriously brainwashed some people are.

Like if socialized medicine was communism and not common practice in democratic countries like Norway, Italy, Great Britain, Spain, Sweden, and multiple others.

People that do not have any problem with public education but raise hell when talked about socialized medicine.

That are concerned with terrorism but do not realize that it did not create nearly a minimal fraction of the victims we have every year due to a horrible and expensive health system, and a war in Iraq that caused more US victims that all the terrorist victims in the US in history, even without counting all the native victims in Iraq, multiple times higher, something that does do not seem to count for these people.

The logic of socialized medicine is that while you are healthy you work and pay taxes, and if you get sick then others pay while you can't. I pay $3500 of premiums for health insurance every year and that is just a start point for a nightmare of Premiums, deductibles, co-pays, percent covered, so that you need to be a complete expert or just avoid going to the doctor. When you end NOT GOING to the doctor because the cost is too high and you wait until you are sure it is serious enough... it is likely too late.

Worried of somebody taking advantage of you? Who, illegal Mexicans that come here mainly to WORK, most times for misery salaries? They would likely not get this benefits if they are illegal anyway.

We are a great country with institutions that work pretty well, why do you think we could not make it work when so many other counties have much better medical systems?

The US medical system is ranked 37 in the World! Pretty bad for a country that is the leader in most other fields.

And that is without consideration for the cost. If cost is brought into the equation, it is THE WORST in the world per dollar expended.

Just a puzzle that may help you understand. Why is it that it is cheaper to go to other countries to have medical treatment than the same treatment WITH a medical plan in the US?

And why is it that even if you decide to go to another country for treatment, pay for it yourself, then your Medical Plan will not reimburse you at all?

You guessed it right, the Medical System is like the Mafia, where you pay just to get Protection, just the same way the Mafia used to do.
Reply:How christianfamilyvalue oriented all these KONS are that just want to kill kill kill.

half a year would defiately do a lotof good.
Reply:No because then the part that would be cut is the money we send to European nations to help fund their militaries because all their funding goes to national health care plans.
Reply:Weeding out terrorists is more important. Let me worry about my own health care.
Reply:take that 1/2 a year war cost... AND THEN half of what Americans NOW spend a year on health insurance ALONE...(in other words I pay 300 a month, but instead I pay 150 a month more in taxes and I don't need that insurance anymore)

that would probably do it...

and the people could keep other half of what people spend on health insurance... and wouldn't have to pay any future costs... (so I would keep the other 150)
Reply:I'd rather have soldiers kill terrorists. I can provide my own health care by having a job with the benefits, or just saving money and paying for a fee for service.
Reply:If it comes from government, it can't be good. AND if they say that's all it'll cost, count on it cost 2 to 3 times that amount in the end.
Reply:it will take more than that.

if you want universal health care, get ready to get taxed to death
Reply:Some of us dont want it.
Reply:No thanks, I'll take dead terrorists to socialism ANY day !

Why does everyoe hate what i want to name my daughter (although i dont plan to have one for years)?

these are the names i want for a little girl i only plan to have daughters (either though adpotion or gender selection)

Addison

Madison

Jacob

Basiel

Bailey

Emily

Skyler

These r just a few that i like right now i may combine them like emily-sklyer addison-jacob sometime like that
Why does everyoe hate what i want to name my daughter (although i dont plan to have one for years)?
Madison and Skyler are popular names right now (a girl in my son's class has that name), and Emily and Jacob are classic (they will always be popular). WHO CARES who likes them?? Stop caring what other people think and live your life, girlfriend!!
Reply:do HOLLY PLEASE that was my grandmas nmae before she passed away
Reply:I like the names that you have chosen..I mean I don't like Jacob or Basiel at all, but the others are fine.
Reply:First of all, if you don't plan on having a baby for years, why are you even thinking of names to begin with? What's it even matter - you're not pregnant now, you're not going to get pregnant soon, %26amp; in years to come your taste will change %26amp; you may not like any of these names. Don't worry about baby names until you're ready for a baby cuz your obsessing over nothing right now.
Reply:Girl-Madison

Boy-Skyler
Reply:Whats wrong with boys??? Girl you better get a better grip on life before you have babies!! Don't worry you will change your baby names 100 times before you actually have one. Maybe just name all your barbies new names for now.
Reply:THESE ARE VERY NICE NAMES. DON'T PAY ANY ATTENTION TO WHAT OTHERS SAY. PEOPLE JUST LIKE TO TALK AND GIVE THEIR OPINOINS EVEN IF WE DON'T REALLY WANT THEM. I ALSO LIKE TO PUT NAMES TOGETHER THAT I LIKE. GET TO USE BOTH THEN. I ALSO KNOW A GIRL NAMED STORMY.
Reply:I think they are wonderful names, but i think that Jacob is a boy's name.
Reply:I wouldn't care what people think, if you like the name. Just be careful of naming a girl a boys name like Jacob...that would be pretty embarrassing for her. The other names are pretty nice I think...I especially like Stormy.
Reply:gender selection is sick! just adopt if you want girls so bad
Reply:I think the reason is people are just about tired of those names. They are quite popular right now and if you yell Madison or Skyler 20 10 year old girls turn and look. But that may change in the future names tend to run in cycles and what is overused now may the coming back into favor in 5-10 years. Besides what really matters is what you think of the name. Also just from experience it is best to not discuss your name choice with family or friends until the deed is done. They somehow feel their opinion matters more than it really does and a lot of negative advice can ruin a name you love or have you irritated at a family member or friend because they didn't like your name. Or even on the other hand have their child before you and use a name you had chosen and then you feel they stole your name and you don't want to use it. Somethings are best kept secret.
Reply:Please don't name your daughter Jacob. She'll be made fun of. Kids are mean to begin with... don't give them ammunition.
Reply:Other than Jacob and Skyler, which are boy names, any of those seem alright to me for a daughter.
Reply:Jacob for a girl... no!

Addison is okay, but I'm from Chicago and that's a big street here so it doesn't sound that great to me.

Madison is way too popular, she would be one of many in her class.

Basiel if it is pronounced like the herb it is only nice for a boy and should be spelled Basil, but if it pronounced how it is spelled it is not so cute.

Bailey is super cute, but a little common, but not as common as Madison.

Emily is more common than Madison, but it is a very nice name.

Skyler, I personally hate that name, but I wouldn't suggest against it.
Reply:Addison-boys name

Madison-really cute, my favorite name

Jacob-boys name

Baisel-Herb

Bailey-really cute

Emily-cute, plain

Skyler-not my favorite
Reply:I think Emylee. It's pretty. Be careful of the Jacob name though. I have alot of girlfriends with "boy" names. And they hate it. It was really hard for them growing up as kids. Wesley, Tyler, Taylor, Ryan, Sloan, Bobby, Alex, Dwayne, and Kyle.

While these names can be feminine it can trigger alot of teasing.

Also I like the name Rowan.

Emylee Rowan.
Reply:Addison and Madison are gorgeous names, so is Bailey, Emily, and Skylar. Don't be afraid of what other people think because a lot of these names are very popular and where I am I could easily find someone with each of those names :) good luck!
Reply:Jacob for a girl? The names you like are pretty but very popular right now. Maybe they are not liked because of the popularity. You ultimately have the choice. Name your child what you love. Don't be so hard on the boys. They're great too!
Reply:I like:

Addison

Madison

Jacob - for a boy

Emily

Skyler

Emily Skler is very nice. But, I don't like Addison Jacob. I have never heard it used as a girls name. But, maybe I'm behind the times.
Reply:Well, Jacob for a girl is way different and I've never heard of Basiel for a girls name. I like them all and I think they are cute. Most people just can't handle anything out of ordinary I guess. Name your kids what you like... they're your kids!
Reply:I don't think people are as miffed by your choice of name as they are about you wanting to pre-select your baby's gender. Why not just accept what you are given and be happy?
Reply:It's nobody else's business! This will be YOUR child! (and I don't hate the names. Wouldn't choose "Jacob" for a girl-but it would indeed be different!)
Reply:News flash! Jacob and Bailey are boy names.

Skyler Raye

Jade Madison

Basiel Ariel

Addison Quinn

Emily Elizabeth-Rose
Reply:ok everything but stormy and jacob are fine. please dont name your daughter that, she'll get bullied and pick on for having a weird name. keep it human and girly.
Reply:News flash...not EVERYONE hates what YOU want to name your daughter...Take me for instance...I don't give a damn.
Reply:Stormy is prefect for a pet

I like Emily Skyler

I like Addison for a girl

I like Jacob Bailey for a boy
Reply:Most of them are good but Jacob is a boy name and Basil is a sprite on Johnny and the sprites. Emily is my favorite out of them all.
Reply:I think you have really good taste in names. I really like your choices of Bailey and Emily.
Reply:I don't hate them, I wouldn't choose them myself, but they are not offensive.

But isn't Jacob a boys name?
Reply:DON'T LISTEN TO THEM! If u like a name and her husband wants it to then u do what YOU'LL be HAPPY with.
Reply:Stormy sounds like a dog. Jacob is a boys name. Basiel reminds me of the herb Basil. Emily, Skylar instead of Skyler (-er is the boys spelling i believe) and Addison sounds like a boys name too. Just watch to be sure they aren't boys name, and i dont think gender selection is fair to the child, parents shouldnt get to pick, but adoption is awesome.
