If i plan to have an career in corporate law, what should i major in when i attend college in one more year?

This just for general purposes if possible and school would also be useful.

Without knowing what schools you're considering, I'd suggest an undergraduate program in Business Administration ~ then take all the law-related courses available. Of course, if you can find the right school, you can begin an appropriate "pre-law" program during your undergraduate years. Research schools and talk with your guidance counselor ~ they're usually pretty knowledgable about this stuff. Finally, if you can, talk with someone in the field, or at least in a lawyer of some kind. They can probably advise you or connect you with someone who can help. Even in high school, you may be able to arrange a mentorship experience with a law firm.

Reply:English is a suggested pre-law major. The LSAT--Law School Admissions Test--has much in it that an English major is well equiped for. Also, you could minor in political science or a similar field.

It's also a good idea not to go into what some colleges call a pre-law major, because often times, graduates change their minds about attending law school, and other times, they aren't admitted into law school.
Reply:Pre-law is always good. Or contact the law schools you might go to and ask what they prefer you major in. For some things it doesn't matter, not sure about law.
