Absolutely. You will only lose your Canadian citizenship if you choose to relinquish it, and it's only an option if you gain citizenship somewhere else.
Reply:You will not lose your citizenship. You may stay in the u.s. for up to 180 days without a visa. if you plan to work in the U.s., you must apply for a work visa. See website below for visa info.
Reply:No you will not, but you will have to file for Non residency of Canada if you are working in the US, this way you will not pay both US %26amp; Canadian income tax on your earnings. If order to get US citizenship you must be there as a legal resident for longer than 1 year. In order to work in the US you must have a valid condtional resident card/green card in which are you issued a Social Security #, pay taxes, Social Security, etc... This process can take time to go through and cost money. You will also need a sponsor either a spouse or a company.
Reply:You can keep your Canadian Citizenship.
Reply:If you were born in Canada they can't take your citizenship away from you EVER, you must give it up voluntarily by taking citizenship in another country. HOWEVER if you were born outside of Canada and became a Canadian citizen by the naturalisation process then they can take your citizen ship away from you for various reasons but moving to another country isn't one of them.

Good luck in the states if you go
Reply:Lots of people have duo American and Canadian citizenship at the same time so not only do you not have to give one up, you can have both.
