If you can afford to go to college first then do it so you can move higher in rank. Trust me I came in as a E-1 and it takes two years to take the E-4 exams.
Reply:You would go in to the Navy at a higher rank if you graduate college first.


Why not check into the Navel Academy. You have to have good grades, but it would be another option for you.


Personally I would advise you to go to college first. After 2/3years in the Navy it is easy to either sign up again or get out and not make it to college.
Reply:Consider college for 4 years with naval ROTC and you can start as an officer.
Reply:if you join the navy right after high school then you can have them pay for your college when you get out, rather then paying for it yourself and then going into the navy
