In one breath SAF says only here for another few years, in the next talks about future plans in years to come?

So he says I'm only there for the next 2 or 3 years, and then gives interviews with his plans for the future in years to come.

What's all that about? Either he's only there for the next few years, or he isn't?

doesnt that jsut tell u something abt him- he wants the club to do well even after he leaves
Reply:Sir Alex has always said that he will leave Man United with a team capable of being successful after he has gone so its no surprise that he still plans for the future even if he wont be there.

I think he will definitely go in the next 2 or 3 years the only way i think he will stay a bit longer is if he doesn't at least equal Liverpool's 18 league titles record as that has always been his main ambition! When first arriving at Old Trafford, Ferguson declared it his intention to “knock Liverpool off their f-----g perch”
Reply:When he talks about the future i think he means when he leaves too, because he is so involved in the club that what he does now has a vast effect on the what the club acheives in many years to come.
Reply:AF will die at Old Trafford.... That's how much passion he has for Man Utd. In my honest opinion, his ultimate goal is to beat Liverpools record....... and his time is running out fast. He'd leave tomorrow if he could achieve that.
Reply:what is the difference in 'a few years' and 'years to come'?

they probably are the 1 and the same.
Reply:I think he's just having trouble letting go.
Reply:he has already proved with the spurs incident what a hypocrite he is...!
