If I can go to only one Nextel Cup race this year, which track and event would should I plan to attend?

Coca Cola 600 is one of the best times I've had at a race. I've been to the Daytona 500 and that is unbelievable and you should try to go one day. The Coke 600 though is so much fun. The night before the race downtown Charlotte has Speed Street with bands and attractions for race fans. Then get there early and tailgate all day until the race at 5:30ish. Awesome racing and cool to see a race from day to night.

Any of the super speedways. Talladega is a awesome track to go to. Bristol of course is great too.
Reply:The night race at Bristol. Las Vegas second. The other race at Bristol third
Reply:Hands down its Bristol(good luck getting tickets)I've been to three cup races at Bristol, the most excitement for the price of the ticket, even the Busch series is good here.
Reply:The Bristol night race. That would be so cool!
Reply:TEXAS. the first race.
Reply:LMS~Coca Cola 600
Reply:That mikemusic19 guy is retarded, Bristol doesn't have a 5 year waiting list, I'm guessing he pulled that number out of his retarded ***, but it is tough to get a ticket. That being said, My favorite races to go to are the Daytona 500 (but if your not allready there and have a ticket, your gonna miss that one). And the Chevy Rock and Roll 400 at Richmond, the last race before the Chase starts, it's always exciting, I've been the last 3 years. It's a great time.
Reply:Go to Talladega. Both races, race weekends, are very good.In April it is the Busch and Cup series, and in October ARCA,Trucks, and Cup run.Come on down and we'll see you here.
Reply:Dover or Richmond
Reply:Richmond race in May. Track is located just a few feet outside the city limits and is not 45 miles outside of the city like every other track is. One of the toughest tracks on the circuit to get a ticket for, it's sold out for many, many years straight. While the fall race has turned into a parade since it's the last race before the Chase starts, the May race has continued the Richmond nickname of "The Action Track".
Reply:bristol isnt an option for this person though.....or else they would already know if they are going or not. the waiting list for tickets to bristol motor speedway is over 5 years long.

its really all up to you, which type of race do you enjoy most? road course, superspeedway, intermediate or short track?

i dont care for road courses that much. short tracks are always exciting, superspeedways are the most exciting, because of the possibility for a huge wreck at any time

i persoanlly think intermediate tracks are the best, ranging from a mile and a half to 2 miles, they are extremely fast and very competitive
Reply:I say don't waste your money to attend any NASCAR race. They don't do this for the fans, they race now for the big corporations. NASCAR would not mind one bit if they could sell their events on Pay Per View and hold them at a track where no one attended in person.

That being said, if you must attend, I recommend a visit to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for a running of the Brickyard 400. I attended the first four runnings of that race and it is an awsome place. They host Nascar's most prestigious and richest race.

There was a time when this circut was all about racing for the fans in the stands but those days are long gone and so am I as a paying customer. I will NEVER again PAY to see a NASCAR event. Not for a ticket, not for calbevision and certainly not for the PPV events that are being proposed.
Reply:The Coca-Cola 600 in Charlotte. Charlotte is a great place to go from what I've heard because a lot of teams and drivers hold events and signings at the shops that people can attend. Plus, there is a lot to do as well. I would be there this year if it weren't for work.
Reply:Bristol...either one, preferably the night one though...most exciting track on the circuit.
Reply:Darlington. Hands down the best track to go to in person. It's Nascar at it's best.
