A Company of recruits have 2 series which consist of 6 Plts.


A plt averages between 55-60 recruits during intial pick up

Its really hard to say platoons can range in size greatly. but on average its 34-60 people to a platoon in the Army. the other thing is there are slow and peak times for the services when they will have more soldiers in training or less in training. its typically slower in the winter months.
Reply:I would guess between 50-60 make it to the end of boot camp.
Reply:Normally there is anywhere from 60 to 100 in a platoon. 6 + platoons pick up a week.
