I am moving in one year and I'm already planning....is it too soon?
no, start now

do reverse planning, you are moving in one year, be ready to move in 6 months so that you have six months to fix glitches

i'm guessing you have a life,

that will take time and logistics to be getting it all moved,

i have spent the last years of my life deploying or being deployed, plan now, less head aches later,

i wish you the best
Reply:It's definitely not too early. By planning ahead, you can make sure that you're financially ready and not be overwhelmed when you actually make the move. Just be aware that if you do see something you like or that's too good a bargain to pass up, you'll need somewhere to store it.
Reply:Absolutely NOT! You can never be too prepared for such a big life change; especially one in which so many things could go not as planned. Some people are just "planners". I am a "planner" too :) Best of luck
Reply:oh course not! u mite as well know wat u want so u dont waste time thinking about it when u move! heck, i already know wat my weddings going 2 be like, and im not even 20!
Reply:Never to soon to plan. In fact, I would start a calendar of what to do and when. Sounds like it will go so smooth!
Reply:no.

im doing that now and im .

it is perfectly natural.

good luck=]
Reply:No, not at all.

Start collecting and storing furniture if you can - that is a HUGE expense!

Check out garage sales, second hand or thrift stores. Even if you don't see anything you want, you will still get great ideas!

1] pick your three favorite colors to decorate with - say blue, green, yellow

2] pick your neutrals too - black, white, gray; or brown, ivory, tan

3] do one room blue with green [ say bedroom ], one room green with yellow [ kitchen ], and one room yellow with blue [ living room ]. Bath can match bedroom, or living room.

4] living room couch, chairs work well in medium neutrals - grays or tans - so you can change colors around them if you like

5] include wall art [ paintings, posters, photos, etc. - in your colors for each room. All should be framed in similar color/material - brass/chrome, oak/walnut, colored enamel so you can move them around in dif rooms if you like

6] include plants, too!

Have fun!
