What is a good insurance plan for some one 49 years?

Single, non smoker. I don't have health insurance and Im gonna need it. I don't know where to start.
What is a good insurance plan for some one 49 years?
Some people want a company that gives you access to whomever you wish to see; some people want a health plan that has the happiest customers; other people want the least expensive; others just want a health insurance company that pays on time. The best way is to ask the people close to you how they like their health plan.

What kind of health insurance are you looking for? It might be a good idea to jot down a list of the different aspects of a health plan and then chart the differences between various plans you come across. Here鈥檚 an example:

鈥onthly price (premium)

鈥early deductible (amount you spend before the insurance company will start paying)

鈥opay amount (amount you pay per service)

鈥oinsurance amount (amount you split with the insurance company 鈥?usually a percentage; i.e., you pay 20 percent and the insurer pays 80 percent)

鈥reedom of choice (can you visit whatever doctor you want; what are the steps to getting referred to a specialist or for a medical procedure?)

鈥reventive medicine and routine doctor visits (does the plan include these?)

鈥ental health (included in the plan; copay amounts; maximum number of annual visits).

I鈥檇 check out Consumer Reports (link below), US News %26amp; World Reports Best Health Plans, and whatever other informational resources you can find. I鈥檇 also talk with locally licensed health insurance agents. I鈥檝e also included a couple of articles about choosing a health plan that might be useful. They are government-authored, but they鈥檙e actually pretty good (all links below).

I鈥檝e also linked to a California Insurance Department page that has a checklist you can use as you are comparing various plans.

After you decide what kind of plan you鈥檙e interested in, check out MostChoice.com. You can quickly compare plans and speak to MI health insurance agents with no obligation.

Reply:There's a company out there that helps people who do not have and need affordable health benefits. It includes regular office visits, any specialists and even pre-existing conditions. It basically includes everything you need help paying for. Their medical plan includes dental, vision, prescription and chiropractic benefits as well. There's no high premiums, deductibles, co-pays, waiting periods, claims forms or anything like that at all. They can save you up to 80% on your out of pocket expenses for a very small fee every month. It could end up saving you a lot of $$ over traditional insurance. Try this website and you can check out the specifics and providers in your area. http://www.everyonebenefits.com/40424269... If your provider isn't on there, he can be added. They are a wonderful company and are members of the BBB. I have benefits through them as well. Hope you find what you need. Please email me if you have any questions, and I'd be happy to help you if I can. Best of luck.
Reply:This is a really good healtcare plan. http://mybenefitsplus.com/40436527 . There is no waiting period, no health questions, it covers a lot (RX, labs, x-rays, hospital stays, dr. visits, etc.) and it's only $49.95 per month. You can use your benefits right away. There is a box on the left that says new medical program. Click it, for all of the information.
